I finally got myself to upload the photos I did during my vacations in the beautiful Warmia district, in Poland. I spent a week in my cottage, beside a peaceful and quiet lake, in the middle of a wonderful landscape.

Most of my time was destined on going to the woods and gathering mushrooms, hence most of the pictures in my gallery were taken in the forests. There are some which I shot from the lakeshore, too.

Some of the titles in the "Holidays 2k6" series are in French. This is because I met an exceptionally sympathetic French family, who visited my neighbors. Every evening and into the night we would sit on my neighbors' veranda and talk. Using the word "talk" is an overstatement though, it would be more precise if I wrote "communicate"... Me and my two Polish friends, Robert and Mariusz, although we speak the language (sort of ), used every possible gesture, sound etc to express what we meant to say. It was incredibly hilarious to watch, I'm sure .

Anyway, Christine, Laurent and their sons, Alain and Romain were a joy to be around with and to them I dedicate my "Holidays 2k6" series.
